Today my father called me and it was a really interesting and instructing conversation.
Our conversations are usually on the norm he asks me how my day going, how’s university , I ask him how is work and then he usually tells me about his day.
But today’s call was kind of the exception
We went ahead with our normal pre-questions and when it was his turn to answer the fateful question “How are you?” he went ahead and described is peculiar day and encounter with an interesting mate.
He said on the phone:
“Today I talked with a coworker about life, how fast everything is changing and who really can be considered an entrepreneur, what type of person can be defined as such in this new environment. He told me an interesting anecdote he said:
“If someone tells you to draw a cat, What will you draw? The answer: You should not draw a cat, You should draw a Tiger”
It means that you shouldn’t strive for the basic but for greatness”
This anecdote stuck immediately in my father’s mind and then mine as well, as you say like father like daughter.
But it seemed to have more meaning behind it than just the interesting and funny fact of drawing a tiger instead of a cat when asked to do so.
